On getting people involved in ministry:

"When people are in the game and not allowed to become pew-sitting critics, they discover it's easy to make a mistake... By the same token, if the only position you give a person is that of a critic (watcher), don't get mad at them when they do the only thing they are allowed to do: CRITICIZE!"
