Seth-isms
As some of you may know, our youngest son, Seth, is a HUGE fan of Michael Jackson... much to our dismay. Not because Michael is a bad guy or anything (we don't really think he is), but Seth sings Billie Jean, Beat It, or Thriller... EVERY DAY!!! Countless times a day... for real. So, this evening, he asked me if I could take him to the library so he could check out an MJ cd... I said, "No way, bud... I'm trying to wean you off of that dude! Let's go listen to some Israel Houghton or Lincoln Brewster!!!!" A few minutes later, he came back to the subject... and his response to me was classic Seth, lol!
Seth: "Dad... I don't know why you're trying to 'get me off of' Michael Jackson... it'll never happen!"
Then, later he said:
"I have one word for you, Daddy: I'm thinking you don't like Michael Jackson because he's not black anymore... he's white!!"
That one had me rolling.
5 years old... what a guy. :-)

That is awesome.
Tell him you don't like him cause he shares his bed with little boys in a creepy, mythical land. Never mind - maybe that's too much for a 5 year old.
