As the Road Turns...

Whew!

There are so many twists and turns in planting a church that you can become carsick... without a car! :-) No matter what your goals, dreams, aspirations, etc., you have to always expect the unexpected. But, no matter what, you'd better have a clear understanding of your call... because that's what is going to keep you during the tough or confusing times.

Do you remember your call? How clear was/is it? Are you following your own vision, or the vision of someone else? Here's a good one: are the changes you're making being made because of what God said, or because of pressure from others?

Because if God is directing you... no matter how much the road winds... no matter how fast things are coming at you... you'll end up where you're supposed to be. Even when plans don't turn out "right", you know that God is in it. Even when people don't show up, you know that God is in control.

But if God is not directing you, and you hit that turn going 105... :-)
